Privacy policy

Updated 11 August 2026

In short: we do not store your IP address, we run no third-party trackers, and we share nothing about visitors with anyone. Details below, with nothing left out.

How your address is determined

Your address is taken from the network connection itself - otherwise the site could not reply to you at all. Country, provider and network are resolved on our own server using local databases. Nothing leaves our machine: no third-party lookup services are involved.

The address shown on the page is not stored anywhere. Once the page is served, it is gone.

What we do store

We keep a visit counter, so we know how many people come and where from. For each visit we store:

This is enough for statistics and not enough to identify a person.

What we do not store or do

Cookies

Exactly one cookie is used: it stores the chosen page language (ru or en). It holds nothing about you and only makes the site open in the same language next time.

There are no tracking cookies on this site.

Leak checks

The WebRTC, IPv6 and time zone checks run inside your browser. Their results are shown to you on the page and are never sent to our server - we neither see nor store them.

API requests

The api.ipgeo.ru endpoint returns the caller's address and country. Such requests are handled the same way: the address is used to answer and is not stored.

How long this is kept

Visit records are kept for 12 months and then deleted. As they contain no addresses and visitor marks change daily, after a day these records are plain anonymous statistics.

Server logs

The web server keeps a service log of requests, as any server does - it is needed for troubleshooting and protection against attacks. It is kept for no longer than 14 days and is used for no other purpose.

Changes and contact
